We are absolutely thrilled to announce that after months of hard work we have been granted funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to allow us to develop a new innovative and holistic service to work with Rotherham people aged 18-30 who are furthest away from engaging in Education, Training and Employment. Brighter Futures will pick up from our successful Talent Match service which saw us engage over 300 Rotherham people who needed intensive support and guidance to overcome their barriers to entering employment, over 35 % of which moved into sustained employment and over 40% entered into education. We hope to build on this success and forge links with local business to increase our offer to Rotherham people.
It goes without saying that we extend our thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund, to our local funding officer who supported us through the process and to each and every one of the millions of people who play the lottery and make this possible. We cannot wait to share with you the difference this project is going to make to individuals seeking the support but also to the local community.
