Rush is a Limited Company and charitable organisation based in South Yorkshire, providing a versatile range of supported accommodation to meet the differing needs of young people aged 16-25.
12 Bedsits (Group Living)
This service is commissioned by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and delivered in partnership with Roundabout Ltd to provide supported accommodation to homeless and vulnerable 16-25 year olds. We offer 12 fully furnished rooms, 9 of which have their own kitchen with the benefit of onsite communal lounge/garden with access to 24-7 staff support. The remaining 3 rooms have access to a large communal kitchen. Based within walking distance of Rotherham town centre with easy transport links across South Yorkshire and beyond. 2-3 hours of directed 1:1 time each week with an allocated keyworker to focus on preparation for independence and developing skills for life. Referrals are via RMBC Key choices.
4 Bed (Group Living)
in 2025 we were proud to announce the opening of our latest accommodation. Based within walking distance of Rotherham town centre with easy transport links across South Yorkshire and beyond and consisting of 4 large bedrooms with ample room to relax. All with smart TVs and wifi and each with a small kitchenette, 2 modern bathrooms, a modern spacious & well equipped kitchen, and a homely welcoming lounge completes the accommodation.
With 24-hour staff support and 2-3 hours of directed 1:1 time each week with an allocated keyworker, this offers 4 vulnerable young people, who are just starting out on their journey towards independent living, the chance to create a settled home and learn the life skills required to successfully move forward and live independently. Placements are through Social Care commissioning and Placement teams across the country.
Dispersed Accommodation
Both Single and shared dispersed accommodation comes with 3 hours support time per week, with the option for more when required, to ensure that support is both consistent and also responsive at the most crucial times.
19 Self Contained Apartments
These self-contained Apartments are fully furnished and meet the highest standards so that Young People we support can be proud of their home.
Although 13 of these apartments are currently block booked by RMBC Social Care, 6 can be accessed through Social Care commissioning and Placement teams across the county and all are located in the borough of Rotherham.
Shared Accommodation
7 shared properties provide 15 bedspaces for Young People who prefer the company shared homes provide. These are two bedroomed properties for two same gender young people to share with the exception of 1 house with three bedrooms.
