Rush House AGM 2024

Monday 30th September saw our management team and Board of Trustees gathered at Aston Hall Hotel for our annual AGM. We spent a lovely morning going through our 3 year strategic plan, reflecting on our progress so far and sharing plans and hopes for the future.

The afternoon was spent conducting the formalities of our Annual General Meeting and reflecting on the year 2023/2024. It was our absolute pleasure to be joined by Philip the life partner of the incredible Rosemary who had been at the forefront of Rush starting some 42 years ago and who remained involved with Rush right up until her death in 2022. To say it was emotional to share these reflections with Philip is an understatement - we miss Rosemary every day but also feel inspired by knowing how much she would have approved of all the development and growth we have gone through. She would be particularly pleased about our Smiles for Miles offer, supporting young people to develop confidence and self esteem, something she valued and championed throughout her time with us.

So here's looking forward. We are incredibly fortunate to have an incredible staff team who embrace change and support organisational growth. A Board of Trustees who give freely of their time to offer their knowledge, skills, passion and commitment to supporting our organisation and a management team who constantly strive to make things even better.

To all our incredible people who are part of our services, to the young people accommodated with us and to those working with Brighter Futures and APOYO we thank you for having faith in us and the services we provide. Everything we do is with you in mind and always will be. There's so much more to come from Rush and we look forward to continuing to serve you for many more years to come.
