Our Outreach Team has been out in the community, supporting individuals who are currently without a home and making sure they are safe, heard, and connected to the right services.

Working closely with local PCSOs and the RMBC Homeless Team, the team has been making key referrals into support organisations and ensuring that no one is facing their situation alone. We’ve been really proud to receive such positive feedback from RMBC about the work being done – a great example of partnership working at its best.

Over the winter months, the team has also supported several people to secure accommodation, helping them move off the streets and into safer, more stable housing when it matters most. Each placement represents not just a roof over someone’s head, but a step towards stability, safety, and a brighter future.

You’ll continue to see our Outreach Team out and about across Rotherham, easily recognisable in their Rush Outreach jackets, offering support, advice, and a friendly face to anyone who needs it.

A big thank you to South Yorkshire Violence Reduction Unit, RMBC, and The Safer Rotherham Partnership for their continued support and collaboration.
