Rush House is an established and respected organisation that develops its services in response to the needs of the most vulnerable people in Rotherham and surrounding areas.

We are looking to add to our team of support workers with the position of a night worker.

NIGHT SUPPORT WORKER

Averaging 42 hours per week

Based at: Rotherham

Hours: 42 per week over 8-week rota

The post requires working a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern which will include some weekends.  

We are looking for a full time night worker, which shift patterns are 7pm to 7am

Salary - £27, 518 per annum based on 168 hours per 4 week rota (37 HRS FTE £24, 242)

Rush House is a non-profit charity, supporting young people ages 16-25 with accommodation and wraparound support to give them the best opportunity to succeed, offering person centred support tailored to each individuals need. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated night support worker to join our team providing onsite support to vulnerable young people. You must have a positive and enthusiastic approach and willingness to engage with Young People particularly at weekends and evenings.

We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of the issues faced by Young People and those with complex needs, demonstrate the skills needed to motivate and engage with this vulnerable client group.

The successful candidates will have verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to equal opportunities.

Applicants should be aware that duties might involve some lone working supported by relevant policies and procedures. As a 24-7, service the role will involve some public holidays to support vulnerable young people who have experienced homelessness or are at risk of homelessness. The post holder will be expected to work within the agreed hours and shift patterns, which are relevant to the service.
