We were absolutely thrilled to welcome members of the Rotherham’s Got Talent team to Rush House last week. The group included Josh Wilkinson, owner of RGT, Leah Morriss, Stage Manager, and of course Joseph Chapman, the winner of Rotherham’s Got Talent 2026.
What made their visit even more special was the reason behind it: the RGT team chose Rush House as a beneficiary for funds raised through this year's show. Their generosity directly supports the work we do with young people across Rotherham, helping us continue providing safe accommodation, stability, and opportunities for brighter futures.
A Visit Filled With Creativity, Curiosity and Conversation
Josh, Leah and Joseph spent the afternoon getting to know more about who we are, what we do, and the young people we support. They spoke with staff, explored our accommodation, and learned about the challenges and ambitions of the residents we work alongside every day.
Throughout their visit, the RGT team filmed a YouTube video which shine's a light on Rush House and will hopefully help raise awareness of youth homelessness in the region. Their willingness to use their platform to amplify our mission means more than we can put into words, and we are excited to share the video alongside this blog post.
